What's life without a little adventure?
HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI
Safari from the sky with Miracle Experience is not only a spectacular adventure but an awe-inspiring opportunity to witness the unparalleled beauty of the Serengeti. It is indeed an experience of a lifetime to greet the wild expanse of the northern savanna at sunrise afloat a hot air balloon. Nothing compares to starting your day with a 360 degree view of rich wildlife and dramatic endless plains and kopjes scattered here and there. Condé Nast dubs it as the number one destination for a hot air balloon ride.
Miracle Experience’s state-of-the-art balloons, launch sites, and breakfast areas have WiFi. Yes, they have WiFi in the bush so you basically have the option of sharing the experience live with your loved ones in other parts of the world. I haven’t encountered a more able and enthusiastic staff in my many years of travel in Tanzania than that of this hot air balloon company. Theirs is a team of extra-milers with impressive attention to details. The service is superb from the early morning pick-up to the after breakfast drop-off. You are served with freshly-brewed coffee at the launch site while waiting to board the balloon. You may have more fresh coffee on air as you admire the view and listen to the knowledgeable captain tell about Serengeti. A celebratory champagne toast follows upon landing. Then you drive to a beautiful location where you enjoy a lavish breakfast in the bush. Or shall I say a feast that you will remember for a long time. And don’t forget to use their one of a kind “loo-with-a-view”. I wasn’t planning of using the washroom but a guy from Colorado who was also in the balloon that day recommended it and commented that it was the best he has seen in all his travels in Africa. And yes, he was right. It was the cherry on top of the experience and a must see.
All in all, this activity is honestly not cheap but it’s WORTH every penny. It’s an activity that you shouldn't miss when you happen to find yourself in the most exciting national park in the world. Experience the magic of the wild with Miracle Experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visit their website at www.miracleexperience.co.tz for more information.
My most favorite member of the antelope family is the eland, which also happens to be the world’s largest antelope. Though heavy, it has the endurance to maintain a trot and can jump a 4-feet fence from a standstill. My first encounter with an eland was in October 2011 in a lodge adjoining a national park in Arusha. The lodge has a watering hole and various types of animals would go there in the afternoon to drink water especially during the drier months...
Driving in the parks is allowed between 6 am and 6 pm only.
The speed limit in the parks is 50km/h and 25km/h in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Animals always have the right of way.
Never feed animals. It will upset their diet and lead to an unnecessary dependence on people.
