Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

• Evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You may apply for visa upon arrival or may get an e-visa (https://visa.immigration.go.tz) prior to arrival in Tanzania. Transfer to a country lodge in Arusha where you'll be spending two nights.

• Accommodation: Luxury country lodge in Arusha
   

Day 2: Arusha National Park Game Drive and Walking Safari

• After breakfast drive to the nearby Arusha National Park to experience the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Take a guided walking safari in the lush greenery near Mt. Meru. Visit to the iconic giant fig tree and picnic lunch by Momella Lake. DAY 3: Flight to Serengeti National Park

• Check-out after breakfast and drive to Arusha Airport to take a flight to central Serengeti. Have lunch before proceeding to an afternoon game drive looking for big cats around Seronera. Drive to the tented camp at sunset. Click here for more information on Serengeti National Park.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park Game Drive

• Leave camp at 6:30 a.m. for a whole day game drive following the Great Migration and looking for big cats. Picnic breakfast by the hippo river and barbecue lunch with Miracle Experience. Back to camp before sunset.

DAY 5 - From Seregeti Central to Ngorongoro Conservation Area 

• Check out after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing along the way. Descend the Ngorongoro Crater, a protected UNESCO world heritage site and known as the Eden of Africa. It is the world's largest intact caldera and the best place to see the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros). Picnic lunch by the hippo pool in between game drives. DAY 6: Tarangire National Park

• Could sleep in today and check-out at 11 a.m. Leave the lodge with lunch hamper and drive to Tarangire National Park, home to large herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. ​​​​​DAY 7: From Tarangire National Park to the Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro 

• Leave camp at 6:30 a.m. and go to an early morning game drive. Back to camp for breakfast and prepare for checkout. Drive to the Maasai highlands of West Kilimanjaro with stopover in Arusha for hot lunch. Participate in activities like spear throwing, dancing with the Maasai tribe on the plateau at sunset, and eating Maasai-style grilled goat by the bonfire under the stars.

DAY 8 - Maasai Highlands and Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport​​

• Spend the day exploring the highlands on foot and visit a Maasai village. Engage with the Maasai community and learn about their customs, lifestyle, and traditional livestock herding. You may get the opportunity of seeing the peaks of Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

• Prepare for check-out and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight to the US.
